Dear judges,
On the occasion of Judge's Day, I congratulate you and thank you for the work you do in the service of the law, justice and the citizen.
Judges have a noble mission and a high responsibility. Each ruling makes way for justice and truth, restores balance in society and restores people's confidence that the law protects them.Beyond legal training, this vocation requires integrity, impartiality, courage, professional ethics and respect for the law.
In recent years, the justice system has undergone a broad transformation process. We have made significant progress in combating corruption, modernizing the courts, digitizing and improving access to justice. These results, noted and appreciated by European partners, were possible thanks to the contribution of judges and all legal professionals. The good collaboration and proactivity that we all demonstrate are, first and foremost, a gain for the entire community.
In the context of this day, I want to express my appreciation for the professionalism and uprightness of judges dedicated to the law, who defend the dignity of the profession and the independence of the act of justice.Including these values are the basis of justice reform - a process that is carried out together with the system, together with judges and for judges.
Dear judges,
I urge you to remain faithful to your vocation and the principles that define it.The Ministry of Justice will continue to support the smooth functioning of judges, to contribute to the strengthening of protective measures and to the creation of the necessary conditions for exercising your role in the administration of justice.
Happy Judge's Day!
Respectfully,
Vladislav COJUHARI
Minister of Justice
