
June 12, 2026, Trier – Minister Vladislav Cojuhari will sign today the Agreement by which the Republic of Moldova joins the Academy of European Law in Trier (ERA).
The agreement opens an important framework for cooperation in the field of justice and European legal training.By joining the ERA, the Republic of Moldova strengthens the access of legal professionals to specialized training on European Union legislation, the application of European standards and the harmonization of national legislation with the EU acquis.
Judges, prosecutors, lawyers, civil servants and other legal professionals will participate in training programs, seminars and exchanges of good practices in the field of European law.These opportunities will contribute to the development of the necessary skills to implement European standards in practice.
ERA is an institution for continuous legal training, founded at the initiative of the European Parliament, with the mission of promoting knowledge and correct application of European Union law.
During the working visit to Trier, Germany, the minister will meet with representatives of ERA and the European Commission (DG JUST).The discussions will focus on cooperation in the field of justice and projects that can support the European path of the Republic of Moldova.
