The Ministry of Justice has established a constant format for dialogue with the judicial system

June 10, 2026, Chisinau – An independent, integral, impartial and efficient judicial system represents a pillar of the rule of law, an important condition for advancing the European path of the Republic of Moldova and, above all, for strengthening citizens' trust in the act of justice.Based on this objective, the Ministry of Justice has established a monthly dialogue format with representatives of the judicial system, to address the priorities and needs for the proper functioning of justice.

The dialogue platform brings together the leadership of the Ministry of Justice, the Superior Council of Magistracy, the Supreme Court of Justice, the courts of appeal, the Chisinau Court and the Agency for Digitalization of Justice and Judicial Administration. This working framework will facilitate direct communication between the responsible institutions, coordinate the necessary interventions and identify solutions for the reported situations.

The heads of the institutions appreciated the initiative of the Ministry of Justice.During the first meeting, those present presented the objectives set for the coming period and the directions in which a common approach is needed. The discussions focused on actions connected to the European integration agenda, human resources, digitalization of services, the judicial map, court infrastructure, physical and cyber security of the judicial system, etc.

"The citizen's interest remains the main benchmark of this dialogue. Justice is already in a process of change, and this direction must be continued firmly: closer to people, more accessible, clearer, more efficient and fairer. Citizens need easy-to-access services, simple procedures, reasonable deadlines and equally applied laws. Through the solutions that we will identify together, we will consolidate the changes that have begun and build a justice system that protects people's rights and meets the expectations of the entire society", declared Minister Vladislav Cojuhari.

The Ministry of Justice will ensure the continuity of this dialogue and will intervene, according to its competence, where institutional support is needed to strengthen capacities, modernize infrastructure, accelerate digitalization and optimize the activity of the courts.
